Guest Reviews
Positives: The views of the lake were magnificent. The sunroom overlooking the lake was warm and relaxing. Very peaceful location away from the bustle of the main village. Host was very responsive. When we arrived one of the smoke detectors in the main living space was beeping low battery. We called, and someone came within 20 minutes to replace the battery. Negatives: The place needs deep clean. I lifted up the couch cushion to retrieve a remote control, and I was so disgusted I never sat on the couches again. There were whole Ritz crackers, gummy bears, etc. The furniture in general is older and has a lot of stains and tears. Neutral: This is an older house, though most of the places in BigBear are, and it's pretty accurately described in the photos. We also had ants in the kitchen and a 6" lizard in the sunroom, though stuff like that is hard to avoid in older homes in wooded areas.
