This house was perfect place for friends and family to come together t for ocktoberfest. It was a 2.9 mile walk to the village which we did one morning, there are stores and a few eateries within a mile. The house was great for hanging out and playing games, the hot tub was clean and was not over chlorinated, the kitchen was decently stocked for cooking. Check in was easy and host was super communicative in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again.

The rental was priced very reasonably for the number of people who stayed in the house and the neighborhood is very nice. The house is fine for sleeping but I wouldn't spend a lot of time there. It needs a lot of maintenance and a general refresh. Kitchen not well stocked for cooking. Overall my biggest issue with this place is dealing with Destination Big Bear. They didn't send check-in instructions until 20 minutes AFTER check-in time. I prefer to rent from individuals rather than these huge rental companies. They don't seem to care about the properties.
