We took our friend who is getting married on a bachelor weekend tour to Big Bear Lake. We were 7 plus the groom and everybody was very happy with the house we rented. It had plenty of room for us to sleep. Some bed rooms are a little nicer than others; overall very decent. The living room upstairs is really the selling point of this house: It's large, with a huge window front from which one can see the lake in the distance. It's nicely furnished and we ended up spending a good amount of time just at the house; playing pool, watching soccer world cup :), or BBQing. The place was clean when we arrived, and well stacked with the necessary amenities. The "minus points" of this place are minor. It's about a 25-minute walk from the town center and its on a dirt road that is a little rough on regular cars. We all would rent this house again.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. We had no plans to leave the entire weekend, since we were just wanting to get away from it all and relax. The jacuzzi certainly helped with that. We had a minor problem with the propane running out during a grilling, but a quick call to the management office rectified that expeditiously. The only things I think were missing was a dust pan (we made a minor mess and had to be inventive in cleaning it up without one) and cushions for the outside chairs (maybe they were there but we missed them). Other than those minor issues, we had a great time and are looking forward to coming back!
