Every time we come to Big Bear we end up staying in a hotel. We were interested in getting a cabin this time for the two of us. I had been looking at cabins on a different website and then came across Destination Big Bear. The prices were more affordable and so many properties to choose from. We booked a nice cabin "meadow's edge" this past weekend. Unfortunately on the way up it started to snow and we were part of that 300 car backup because people didn't know how to use snow chains. I called DBB and the lady I spoke with was really nice and understanding. We were able to get the code to our rental since their office was closing. Our 2:30pm arrival turned to 7:30pm due to the backup. So thankful we were able to get in right away. The cabin was cutely decorated with bears and really gave the cabin feel. Kitchen was stocked with all the items you would need, pots, pans, etch, and we brought some food to cook during our stay. The bedrooms were nice and loved the updated showers. There's a nice yard for your fur babies to run in (hope to bring ours next time) and there's also a hot tub. The following morning we went in to DBB and checked on. Process was very easy. On the last day of our stay I asked if we could get a late check out and they were able to accommodate to 1pm which was very nice. Check out was a breeze, we just grabbed our trash and made sure everywhere was locked up. Enjoyed ourselves so much and have told all our friends and family to book with DBB, look forward to booking again!

We didn’t know what to expect renting a dog friendly home BUT we were thrilled with how clean (smell free), well stocked kitchen & comfortable the home was! So much so we’ve already rebooked for next year! Our dog LOVED the huge yard! Everything was well labeled and it’s so close to everything in town!
