So this review will be based on two things: 1) The company, Destination Big Bear and 2) the property Moose Mountain 1) From Destination Big Bear, I mainly spoke with Keoni, Tristan and Nick via email messaging. For the most part, their responses were prompt. There were no problems from the first time of contact up until booking the cabin. They were very flexible and left messages when I wasn't able to answer their calls. Upon arriving on the property, the lady whom I spoke it was very courteous and attended to anything we needed. Most of staff I spoke with via were very professional and helpful, with an exception of one male who didn't sound like he wanted to be at work -- But who doesn't have those days. They were very helpful with our cabin and with other questions in regards to any activities near by, like boat rentals. --- based on my experience with the staff, i would give them a 4.3/5. SUMMARY: + Courteous + Professional + Helpful + Prompt + No problems encountered ++ Would do business with them again 2) the property was smaller inside than expected but very very cute and nice with nice decor, hot tub, awesome yard and grill outside - The yard is a nice size. i would definitely stay here again. SUMMARY + INSIDE: Clean - DECK: backside is spacious with bbq + Upgraded Kitchen + Yard - nice size and fenced

I just returned from a lovely few days visiting Big Bear. This is the second time I have rented a place through Destination Big Bear. On both occasions the staff was prompt, friendly, and helpful. On this trip when we arrived at Mariposa, we discovered that the fridge did not work in our cabin. We called right away and within about a half hour Mike arrived to look at the fridge. He declared it dead and said they'd find us another cabin. We were moved to Moose Mountain which was absolutely lovely! We got the jacuzzi we wanted and dog friendly place too. Tristan was working the phones while we were there and even called us that first evening to make sure the new place was OK. I am very pleased with Destination Big Bear's service and would rent from them again.

My family and I have decided to visit Big Bear in March 2012. I'm one of those people that research the crap out of hotels. What do the rooms look like, what kind of ammenities are there, etc. I know some people don't care where they stay when they travel, but for my family it's a thrill to find a great place and then of course tell our friends about it. After hours of reading reviews on the hotels in Big Bear I would have to say I wasn't too impressed. I kept going to the Destination Big Bear website where I found their pictures more comprehensive as far as knowing what I was getting for my money. I spoke to them 4 (yes I said 4) times in order to get information and each time they were EXTREMELY patient with me. Keoni was seriously the best!!! He REALLY wanted to help me, and gave me the information needed to make the BEST decision for our up coming trip. We decided to go with Moose Mountain, which looks amazing!!! I will make sure to give a review about our stay, but so far I have to say I have been very satisfied with the customer service from Destination Big Bear.
