Very easy in and out check in at thier office. No lines. No crazy parking. The house we got was so beautiful and in such a great location. It was not plowed when our first guest got there (early) but the host was super responsive and had a plow vendor out there and it all clear by the time our stated check in occurred. The house was perfect for our family gathering. The hot tub is small but is actually hot which is what really mattered. The one additional apartment is separate from the house on top of the garage. The bottom level was great for the teens in the group. The theater was super fun. We had snow and crazy wind one night. The shed outside must have blown opened. The hot water tank apparently froze thus causing the well to stop working (all water cut off mid stay). The host was fast in response. Mid day had a plumber out to see what was going on. Issue solved and host extended our stay to a 530pm check out as a way to sorry for the inconvenience which we thought was great.

The house was as big and spacious as we saw in the photos online. I think the cleaners were rushed with a few things like clean rugs, vacuuming in every space. The washer didn’t work so that was a bummer and extra work for Destination Big Bear. The apartment needs a redo and some updated furniture. The beds are not super comfortable and extra pillows and towels are always appreciated. Our family had a fantastic time though and we made it all work for us! The main floor being all main floor was great for all of us. More chairs would also be helpful when you rent a house for 16 people. Anyway, great location and amazing views.

This was a beautiful house and amazing location for a large group of people. There were a few issues that came up which I think were due to the house not being used very often, but destination big bear responded to the issues and resolved. Overall we had a great stay and i would rent from them again.
