Guest Reviews
This place was great! There was plenty of room and the space is super cute and styled really nice. I had no issues with checking in or out, just simply remember to leave the house how they ask. We were given plenty of towels, trash bags and soap. But not soap for showers or anything like that so be sure to bring your own. Also note that you need to take your trash to the dump site after your trip is over. Overall a great stay, i’d book this place again.

Jan 14, 2019We loved our time at MY HAPPY PLACE, so much so that we spent a great majority of our weekend inside the house rather than exploring all that Big Bear has to offer. Our group of eight was perfectly comfortable inside the home and each of us rested comfortably inside the cleverly decorated bedrooms. The home has charming curb appeal with a deck out front and plenty of parking for four vehicles. The main level of the house allows plenty of space in the living room and game room to hang out and watch TV, play shuffleboard, or enjoy card games. There is also a grill on the back patio and hot tub just off the game room. The kitchen is small but has enough space and modern appliances to cook and host a meal or snacks around the island. We would suggest bringing EVERYTHING you need to cook a meal as even basic cooking supplies and condiments are lacking. But that did not detract from our overall experience of the house. The location is about 30-minute walking distance from the village and features everything you would want under one roof for a Big Bear Mountain weekend getaway.
