Our stay could not have been more perfect! My group of 13 stayed very comfortably in Loggy. Visually the place isn't very up to date and some of the decor may look older but that is the charm. It felt very homey and we didn't feel awkward like we were renting someone else's house it felt like our own. The layout is ideal for a big group. We never felt crowded even when we were all in the same room. The kitchen is upstairs which is different but made it great, all the house "chefs" would be in the kitchen while the pool table was downstairs and our pool Sharks were enjoying their time. The location was great, not very many neighbors which is good when you are all hanging out, listening to music and having a couple drinks. Again we were a big group and my main worry was space but everyone had their bed even if one or two were shared it was enough. We are currently planning my Big Bear birthday celebration and we are definitely considering Loggy even if the price went up since it is going to be in mid summer! Overall we are extremely happy with our quick vacay!!

I can honestly say that this was an amazing location, It was very spacious, big size Jacuzzi, and the neighborhood was amazingly quiet.

We are a group of 4 female friends that have known each other for over 30 years. All of us having families during the course of our relationships and two of the friends doing regular camping trips over the years with their families. As we have grown and now have time to come full circle and participate with all four friends and their kids, we were looking for a change up from the normal camping gatherings. We found Destination Big Bear on the internet and after several visits to the website were not sure what destination would be best for our group. Your customer service agents were very patient with multiple calls and requests for suggestions of space and amenities that would best fit all our needs. Your team nailed it!! Although your suggestion was not the most luxurious, it was perfect for our needs (and budget). The Loggy rental had a spacious and open kitchen (allowing for several cooks in the kitchen) with a wonderful kitchen table that allowed a real "home feel" and it was stocked to the gill with all the neccesaties needed for a functional weekend without having to bring your own "kithchen sink" ! The 3 decks were great, allowing for several areas of gatherings but not crowding as was the overall feel of the home. All the sleeping rooms allowed for exactly what we needed for a large group. The flat screen TV's, Internet access, DVD, Pool Table and Direct TV were perfect for bored teenagers. The location was great and close enough for everything from shopping, sight seeing, lake swimming, zoo , antique shopping and nice walking neighborhood for exercise. Overall, we were very pleased with your service from start to finish. Of course as this being the first day back I am anticipating our refund of deposit :-) Cons and suggestions - The Loggy Cabin was located next door to a less than desirable property, esthetically speaking. Although we had no problem with our neighbors and had no noise or disruption for our weeken. The property was dark for lighting at night and I think a simple fix of replacing light bulbs could fix this. We had a great time and made some great memories.
