Great location and backyard was amazing and spacious. You can’t see in the pics but in addition to the hot tube there are 2 picnic tables on the deck. The only thing lacking was the very limited kitchen amenities. No cookie or baking sheets. Bring your own. I went back and picked up more towels and paper towels. They were very helpful and the Destination Big Bear office was so close I rode my bike. Make sure when you check out you read where it specifies to unload dishwasher. Most places allow you to place dirty dishes in as you leave but I was told we would be charged but I spoke with a representative and she said it would be okay if we did that. Luxkily I let the rep know as we checked out and she waved the $50 fee we would have been charged. The girls were at the office all weekend if we had questions and needed anything so it was very convenient. The house was very close to grocery, lake and bike trails. We brought bikes and ride everywhere. Recommend for big families as our kids were able to play in backyard while we grilled and enjoyed ourselves on the deck. We hope to be back someday.

A group of 8 of us stayed the weekend here and we all had a blast. The house is great. It had a nice grassy backyard with a horseshoe pit (including horseshoes), jacuzzi, and charcoal BBQ. Highlights of the house itself were the pool table (in pretty good condition), gas fireplace, and plenty of beds for everyone (kings/Queens and a bunk). The kitchen was nice and decently stocked. Use of the garage (2 spaces) was also an unexpected bonus. Upon arriving we wanted to try out stuff. Jacuzzi worked great, but the fireplace and TV weren't cooperating, so I called the office and they couldn't instruct me over the office so ended up sending someone over to help. The fireplace apparently had a remote that is now missing, making adjustments slightly dangerous considering the extreme temperatures the glass reaches (if you have experience with these fireplaces you'll know what I mean). The blu-ray player was unplugged and 1 HDMI port on the TV was broken. The blu-ray player had a few apps so we got music going that way. The master bed fireplace was also broken, and no pool table chalk and a couple cues missing tips (all fixed by the technician). Overall we had a great time and nothing was a big enough issue to cause any real problems, but not flawless so not 5-stars. Also, destination big bear charges fees for just about everything imaginable (dirty dishes, trash, left behind food/items, cables unplugged, etc) which is a little hypocritical since the blu-ray cables were unplugged when I arrived. Another small bummer is they don't provide charcoal but they do provide propane, so wish we had a gas grill.

This place was wonderful with plenty of space, and that pool table really came in handy. Would stay here again for sure. Great location!
